History Museum of Mobile, Alabama Wedding | The Criglers

Weddings are just so much fun to be a part of!! I truly love this job of being a photographer and am literally living my ideal dream life! When I was growing up, I always wanted to be married, start a family, and be a stay at home mom…..now I don’t have any kids or any on the way yet, but I am able to support me and my husband working from home most days and I LOVE IT!!! One day in the future, my dream of being a stay at home mom / photographer will be a reality…just not quite yet!!

I was so thrilled to be the photographer at The Crigler’s wedding! I went to high school with Savannah, the bride, and it is so special seeing my classmates find and marry the loves of their lives. It’s around that time in all of our lives (the class of 2015) that we should be graduating from college, being hired for big kid jobs, and getting married.

Savannah and Hayden have been together for a very long time!! I believe they started dating in freshman year of high school…so that's what? like close to 10 years? CRAZY!! I always love to hear the bride and groom read aloud their handwritten vows. My husband and I decided to write our own vows and it meant so much to me hearing him promise to love me forever. During Hayden and Savannah’s vows, Hayden told a super sweet story about them being 16 years old sitting in their car. Right then and there they knew they were going to marry one another someday and they wrote vows to each other in that moment on brown paper napkins.

I loved that Hayden shared that moment during his vows. It made every word mean so much more knowing he had taken his vows he wrote when he was 16 years old and added to them to include the past years of their lives together and how much more Savannah meant to him now versus then. I don’t believe there was a dry eye in the building by the time he was done reading his vows to his stunning bride.

I had so many favorites from their wedding that it was hard to pick which ones to share with you all, so I hope you enjoy these few images telling the story of what their day was like.
