THE WEBBS

Let’s take a moment to sit back, relax, curl up on the couch and scroll through some gorgeous wedding photos from the summer!! If you’re a fan of fall, take this moment to praise the Lord for the cool weather! If you’re a summer lover, then let these photos remind you of all the summer fun you had! Either way, enjoy!

Megan had some of the most beautiful wedding details that I have ever seen. Each piece had a special meaning to her and I love that she shared those with me. It made photographing her details even more important and special.

This dainty small gold bracelet was Megan’s great grandmother’s bracelet. All the daughters in her family who have been married wore in on their wedding day. Megan was so excited for it to be her turn to wear her great grandmother’s bracelet!

On the day of her wedding, Megan and her mom took a moment to sew a cutout heart from her father’s work shirt into the hem of her wedding gown. She used this special sentiment as her “something blue” which meant so much to her and her father.

Megan and Chance decided to share a first look (almost completely) alone on their wedding day. After I had a chance to capture their first time seeing each other, I stepped out of the room for them to share a special moment completely alone. Often, the Bride and Groom have no time alone on their wedding day until it is all said and done with. During this time, Megan and Chance decided to read handwritten vows to one other in the comfort of one another’s presence. Their special moment left them both in tears as they were able to speak from the heart and promise to love one another till the end of their days.

Since Megan and Chance opted to share a first look with one another prior to the ceremony, we were able to take all their portraits before the wedding. In the heat of the summer in the South this meant that they were able to get their portraits taken before standing in the sun all day and getting gross and sweaty. Being comfortable while having your portraits taken is important! It will allow you to be more in the moment rather than worrying about the others around you and the way you look.
