Downtown Mobile Elopement

Elopements are always magical, but there's something even more special when it's a secret shared only between the couple—until the big reveal, of course! Recently, I had the incredible honor of capturing a surprise elopement in the heart of downtown Mobile, with the Federal Courthouse building providing a grand and timeless backdrop for the occasion.

The couple, who had decided to marry quietly, exchanged their vows privately before inviting me to document the moment they would eventually share with their family and friends. Their excitement and joy were contagious, and the intimate atmosphere made the photoshoot feel all the more special.

The bride was absolutely stunning in a short white dress, which felt perfectly suited for an elopement—chic, modern, and just the right amount of formal. Her look was effortlessly elegant, and the shorter hemline brought a fun, carefree vibe to the whole day. It was clear that they both were embracing the moment, celebrating their love in a way that was uniquely theirs.

After capturing the romantic shots of the newlyweds around the courthouse, we moved on to a small but sweet celebration—a cake cutting.
