Fresh 48 Portraits At Children’s & Women’s | Matthew

There are sessions that feel like milestones not just for the family, but for me as a photographer too—and this was definitely one of them.

I’ve had the honor of photographing this sweet couple through so many seasons of life: their engagement, wedding day, maternity photos, newborn portraits for their first baby, and now… their newest addition, baby Matthew.

This Fresh 48 session took place in the hospital, just hours after Matthew arrived. There’s something incredibly special about those early moments—everything is still fresh and quiet, full of wonder, and a little bit surreal.

Matthew was curled up and peaceful in his bassinet, completely content. His big brother was so proud, curious, and gentle, already stepping into his new role with the sweetest energy. Seeing this family of four together for the first time was beautiful to witness—full of love, connection, and joy that filled the room.

Watching their story unfold over the years has been such a privilege, and capturing this next chapter with baby Matthew made me feel incredibly thankful for the work I get to do.
