Fresh 48 Portraits at Mobile Infirmary | Blakeley

This Fresh 48 session was extra special to me because it wasn’t just any newborn—I had the joy of photographing my very own niece, Blakeley. She’s the first baby girl in our family, and you can bet we went all in with the pink. From soft blankets to the cutest little bow, she was already stealing hearts from the moment she arrived.

I spent time at the hospital soaking in those first quiet hours, capturing her tiny features and those peaceful newborn stretches. There’s something so sacred about those early moments, and being able to document them for my own family was incredibly meaningful.

One of the sweetest parts of the day was when Blakeley’s big brothers came to meet her for the very first time. Watching those moments unfold through my camera was unforgettable. Her oldest brother, Oliver, was instantly smitten—so proud, gentle, and completely in awe of his new baby sister. The joy and curiosity on their faces said it all.

This session is one I’ll treasure forever—not just as a photographer, but as an aunt. Welcome to the world, sweet Blakeley. You are already so loved.
