Washington Square Park Engagement Session | Kate & Christian

There's something timeless about downtown Mobile. Between its historic architecture and beautiful green spaces, it's one of my favorite places for engagement sessions because it offers so much variety without having to travel far.

For this session, we started at the iconic Mobile Federal Courthouse, where the stunning white columns and elegant architecture created a clean, classic backdrop. The bride-to-be wore a gorgeous long-sleeved white lace dress that complemented the bright stone perfectly, giving the entire session an effortlessly sophisticated feel.

After, we made our way over to Washington Square Park. The change of scenery brought a completely different feel to the session. Surrounded by towering oak trees, winding pathways, and lush greenery, the park added warmth and softness that beautifully balanced the clean lines of downtown.

One of my favorite things about combining these two locations is how much variety they provide. In a single engagement session, couples receive both elegant city portraits and romantic, nature-filled images that feel relaxed and authentic.

These two were such a joy to photograph. They laughed easily together, embraced every moment, and made documenting their love feel effortless. It's always an honor to preserve this season before the wedding day, and I can't wait to celebrate with them soon.

If you're planning an engagement session in Mobile, choosing both the Mobile Federal Courthouse and Washington Square Park is a perfect combination for couples who love timeless architecture paired with beautiful natural scenery.

I can't wait to capture more love stories in these beautiful downtown locations!
