Katlyn loves the History Museum so much that she requested we start their engagement session by taking photos on the beautiful staircase entrance. It was so gorgeous! We ended up walking downtown and stopping at beautiful spots along the way to where I got married at Fort Conde Inn. I love shooting in this area so much! It brings back wonderful memories of my wedding day and pregnancy (we took our maternity portraits here as well)!

Katlyn and Chase are so sweet together! I cannot wait for their unique wedding day at the Gulfarium! Aquariums are one of their favorite date spots, so they decided to incorporate that love they share into their wedding day and I know it is going to be beautiful!! Plus, Katlyn loves The Little Mermaid (such a classic!) and can incorporate that into her wedding day! Their wedding is going to be so special and personalized to them and who they are as a couple. It’s going to be amazing!

We got really lucky and the sun popped out from behind the clouds for some gorgeous golden hour shots! Golden hour is my favorite time to shoot because of the beautiful glowy effect the sun has! Whether you’re shooting with me or someone else, ALWAYS ask to shoot at golden hour!!
