Mindy and Travis’s wedding day was so sweet and unique to them! Mindy started off the morning getting ready with her closest friends and family! Her daughter was right in all the action and was shocked seeing her mom all dolled up in her wedding gown! Dad shed a few tears as well seeing his little girl all grown up! Mindy is absolutely one of the sweetest brides that I have ever met! She deserved to find the perfect man for her and Dawn and God helped her find him! Mindy and Travis are visibly in love with one another and that kind of love needs to be celebrated and shared. They got married on their front lawn, so now any time they are home they can just look out the window and remember one of the best days of their lives! How sweet is that?!

One of their groomsmen was exposed to Covid right before the wedding day, but he of course still wanted to support his friend and be there on his big day! So, he got all dressed up in his tux and came over for a Covid friendly, six foot distance bridal party picture. I thought it was so sweet that he was willing to come to their special day even though he had to stay far away from everyone and all the action happening! Friends like that are hard to find and so important to keep!

We were able to take the majority of their portraits during golden hour and it could not have been more perfect! The way the sun shined down through the trees was breathtaking. It was the perfect setting for beautiful portraits!

During the reception, Travis shared a dance with Dawn! It was so emotional watching them sway and twirl around the dance floor. I think Mindy’s reaction to watching this special moment had everyone in the feels!

What better way to celebrate your wedding than with beignets?! MoBay Beignet came to the party during the reception and I wish you all could hear the excitement that I got to that night when everyone saw the truck pulling it! It was such a special touch that was a huge crowd pleaser.
