I’m just going to start of by saying if you have friends that own a beautiful home on the bay, 100% ask them if you can have your engagement pictures taken there! Mary Frances and Bailey used one of their friend’s private land for their photoshoot and it was absolutely beautiful! Plus, it’s more meaningful to them and somewhere they can go and visit and reminisce on this fun time in their lives!

So of course we picked the ONE cold, windy day in the whole week to photograph Mary Frances and Bailey’s engagement session! Just days before the sun was shinning and everyone was bringing out their summer clothes. All that meant for Mary Frances and Bailey was that they got to snuggle up even closer to one another to stay warm!

Mary Frances and Bailey are straight up models and kept true to their personalities during their session. If you take a second to look, Mary Frances did not wear shoes during their session at all because shoes are not her thing. She’s always barefoot and that’s what makes her comfortable! Mary Frances and Bailey’s energetic golden retriever, Riggs, was a rockstar during their engagement photos! Bringing along your doggy to your engagement session is a MUST in my opinion!

In the beginning of their photoshoot, Bailey requested no cheesy poses where they look at each other. WELL, by the end of the session Bailey was all into the fun, cheesy poses!! I know a lot of the prompts that I give during a photoshoot can feel really awkward to do, but you just have to trust me! It’s those cheesy prompts that get real interaction going between you and your fiancé!
