Katie and James’ wedding day was perfect! There was a 100% chance of rain and we were running around finding those cute clear bubble umbrellas you see bride and groom’s use on their rainy wedding days the day before to be fully prepared. We all prayed and prayed all day long for no rain and God answered! There was not a single drop of rain in the sky! Since the rain held off, Katie and James were able to have the wedding of their dreams at the beautiful Venue at Dawes.

Katie and James wanted to see each other for the first time as she was walking down the aisle, but they still wanted to share a special moment before they became husband and wife. So what we decided to do was a first touch where they were back to back and touched hands with a door separating them. It was a very sweet moment and a great alternative to those who do not want a first look.

You can really see how much Katie and James love each other as she is walking down the aisle!! Katie was all smiles the whole way and James was holding back tears as he saw his beautiful bride walking towards him.

Their wedding reception was so much fun! They had amazing food and danced to some great music by DJ Cole. Their wedding ended before sunset, so instead of the typical sparkler exit we had to get creative! What Katie and James ended up doing was running through the arms of their loved ones as they formed a tunnel around the newlyweds! It was a first time for me and very unique! I love the way the images turned out from that special moment and I’m sure it’s something they will never forget!
