2024 - 2025 Pricing Guide
I serve a very specific type of wedding couple who recognizes that if they want joyful, genuine portraits of the day, then they need more than just pretty pictures. They need an incredible EXPERIENCE! When you invest in Kristen Marcus Photography you are investing in the experience!
For starters, I am a pretty organized person. So I include a custom wedding day timeline with each package! I use it to make sure we capture every moment that is important to you without being stressed about making it to the ceremony on time!
I don’t believe that wedding photography is one-size-fits-all! I know that each couple is unique! So I have different packages to start with and each package can be customized to suit your wedding day perfectly.

You Have Questions...
I Have Answers
How Many Hours of Coverage Do I Really Need? Like I stated above, each wedding is different and has different needs. I have found that 6-8 hours of wedding day coverage is usually enough time for me to capture all the highlights of the day. 8 hours of coverage would give us time to capture everything from getting ready, all the formal portraits, and ceremony, to the grand exit at the end of the reception.
We Already Have Proposal Pictures, Do We Need an Engagement Session too? YES!!! I include an engagement session in each of my packages because I think it’s important!! An engagement session gives us time to meet up and bond a little bit more. I am going to be with you a lot on your wedding day, so getting to know one another is important! An engagement session also gives me time to see how you and your fiancé work together as a couple. Are you giddy and laughing the whole time or a mix of serious, smiles, and spicy poses? Learning how we work together will make the wedding day go so smoothly!
Why TWO Photographers? Is It Necessary? I think that having a second shooter on your wedding day adds value to your final gallery. Having a second shooter allows me to be two places in one! So in the morning while I’m with the bride getting her ready, the second shooter can be with the groom taking his getting ready portraits. On top of being in two places at once, there are double the amount of eyes focusing on the details and moments of your day! For example, one of us sees grandma crying during the ceremony while the other is focused on the bride walking down the aisle to her future husband.
Bridal Portraits. What Are Those? Bridal Portraits typically take place 1-2 months before the wedding day. It is an hour session of the bride in her wedding dress with her hair and makeup done. (Most use this moment to have a trial hair and makeup run with the person they’ve hired for the wedding day) Having bridals done before the wedding is fun when you may want to display a photo of the bride all dressed up at the reception.
What Exactly is a Custom Wedding Album? I’m glad you asked! I love to customize albums for my clients after the wedding has taken place. This is not a book with printed images slid into pockets. This is a beautiful book that has all your favorite images from the wedding day displayed! You can read more about the two style options that I currently offer here.
