She took a moment to herself to help compose her thoughts. Tears streaming down her face and a damp tissue in her hand. The happy tears were overwhelming and could not be stopped. The moment that was about to occur was such a tender moment for the beautiful bride. Her dad, her father, her rock was about to see her in her wedding dress for the first time. There was nothing that could prepare her for this moment. Her father's health has been through some tough times which made this moment mean so much more.

As he opened the door to see his stunning daughter, the lovely bride, she took a deep breath. The tears began to stream down her face even more as her father approached her with the biggest grin on his face. They could hardly contain their joy as they embraced each other and the moment.

This is my favorite moment of every wedding day. Being a daddy's girl myself I tend to tear up every chance the bride and her dad have a moment alone. Their sweet hugs and smiles tell so much without any words being spoken at all. You can see how proud the father is that his daughter is now a woman and beginning a life of her own. You can see the bride's love for her father and the memories they've shared in her eyes.

This moment, the moment my dad will see me in my wedding gown, is the moment I look forward to the most on my own wedding day. My dad has been my rock, my supporter, my leader. When it's my turn to be the bride looking back at her dad as he walks in the room and sees her in her dress for the first time, I know I will be full of emotion and memories.

When we first met, I felt as if we had known each other for years! Your kind and funny demeanors led to us getting along perfectly and I loved getting to know you even more as your wedding planning progressed. Your wedding was stunning and I am so honored you chose me to play a part in your big day. You two are so obviously perfect together and I wish you many years of happiness!
