There is something undeniably timeless about a formal summer wedding, and this beautiful June celebration at Izenstone in Spanish Fort, Alabama was the perfect blend of elegance, romance, and heartfelt moments. With a color palette of dusty rose, lush greenery, and gold accents, every detail created a sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly complemented the venue's classic charm.

Although June weddings in Alabama are often known for high temperatures, this day was a gift. Soft overcast skies and a refreshing breeze kept everyone comfortable, creating beautiful light for portraits while allowing guests to fully enjoy the outdoor celebration.

One of the most emotional moments of the day happened before the ceremony during the bride's first look with her dad. As he turned around to see his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time, tears immediately filled his eyes. Their embrace was filled with so much love, making it one of those unforgettable moments that reminds everyone what weddings are truly about.

The couple chose to wait until the ceremony to see one another, making the walk down the aisle even more meaningful. But before the ceremony began, they shared a private first touch.

Standing back-to-back around a corner, they held hands without seeing each other. During this quiet moment, the groom prayed over their marriage, asking for God's guidance and blessing over the life they were about to begin together. As the night continued, everyone was treated to one of the most fun late-night surprises—a beignet truck serving warm, fresh beignets. It was the perfect sweet treat and quickly became a favorite among guests before the evening came to a close.

Before heading outside for their grand exit, the couple shared one final private moment together.

While guests gathered outside, the newlyweds returned to the dance floor for a private last dance. With the room now empty, they held each other close, reflected on the incredible day they had shared, and enjoyed a few quiet minutes together before beginning their new adventure as husband and wife. Private last dances have become one of my favorite wedding traditions because they allow couples to slow down and truly take in the significance of the day before the celebration officially ends.
