Rainy Washington Square Engagement Session

With the threat of rain all day, we almost called off this photoshoot and man am I happy that we did not!! We had about 10 minutes of clear beautiful sky before a clap of thunder and sudden downpour of rain came. However, we kept on shooting!! Mallie and Dakota offered me an umbrella to hold to keep my gear dry while they danced, laughed, and kissed in the rain! It was like something out of a movie!

Fun story: Dakota proposed to Mallie in Washington Square which is why they wanted to shoot their engagement session there! What I found out during the shoot is that it actually was pouring rain when he proposed too. The couple were so upbeat and said that the rain must just be their thing now, so they embraced the rain and it was amazing!
